Maryville's welcome page for admitted students says preceptors are "arranged by students and approved by program administration." The search is yours: an APRN, MD or DO who is board certified with a year or more in practice, at a site that will sign Maryville's MOU or its own affiliation agreement, and not your relative, supervisor or colleague.

What exactly do you do?

Can I do my Maryville clinicals in any state?
Maryville's June 2026 licensure grids mark New York as not meeting requirements for all five NP tracks, and Louisiana for every track except FNP. Check your state's page and confirm with Maryville before you plan.
